What does FoundScore check?
FoundScore fetches the page and checks its on-page environment for search visibility (SEO) and AI citations (AEO·GEO). Free results show current scores and the number of areas needing improvement.
How are scores calculated?
Automatically measurable signals are combined into a score out of 100. Checks that cannot be measured reliably are excluded instead of filling gaps with guesses.
What does the potential score mean?
It estimates the upper limit of on-page technical readiness after realistically addressing the issues found. It represents room for improvement, not guaranteed rankings or visibility.
Can a well-built site still improve?
Even with a high on-page score, actual visibility depends heavily on relevance, domain authority, external mentions and competition. Factors that a single-page analysis cannot reliably assess are not scored.
What are AEO and GEO?
AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) concern how AI answer services find, understand and cite web information. Technical readiness can be checked, but actual citations or recommendations cannot be guaranteed.
How long does an analysis take?
Analysis usually takes 15–40 seconds because we fetch and inspect the page. It includes real-user speed data (Core Web Vitals); heavier sites may take longer.
